Alcoholics Anonymous Israel
The freedom to choose a new life
Personal Growth
Beyond stopping drinking, the program provides practical tools for taking a soul-searching inventory, clearing away the wreckage of the past, and finding a peaceful, happy, and useful life.
Ending Isolation
The illness of alcoholism causes deep isolation. With us, you will find a supportive community (fellowship) of men and women who truly understand you, without any judgment.
Freedom from the Urge to Drink
We offer a way to be freed from the obsession and compulsion for alcohol, rather than just a temporary cessation of drinking.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Everything you need to know before your first meeting
What will happen if they see me there? I am worried about my reputation.
We understand this concern. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions. We guarantee absolute anonymity at the public level, and our meetings are a safe space where your identity and words are kept in strict confidentiality. Our only purpose is to help.
I am not a religious person, will the program suit me?
Absolutely. Alcoholics Anonymous is not a religious organization. The program is open to everyone, including atheists and agnostics. Our steps are suggestions only, and every member is free to define a "Higher Power" according to their own understanding, even the group itself can serve as this power for you.
Does it cost money?
No. Our program is completely free. There are no membership fees or dues. Our groups are fully self-supporting through the voluntary contributions of our members only.
